i cnt believe it couldnt do the last question! its so easy! oh man. i suck.
my math gpa is gone. must work harder.

my mommy told me a story today. i thought i should share it:
there was a girl, who was always good. and she had a little brother, who was irritating and spoilt and basically, not very good.
one day, she got very fed up and so she wrote in to a newspaper and asked a columnist: why is it that i, who always eat my greens and brush my teeth and do my chores, never receive any kind of rewards from God and my brother, who is so much of a brat, never receives any form of punishment from God?
The columnist was very puzzled as well. many people had written to her about this same question,and she never could find a reply.
one day, the columnist went to LA, where her cousin was getting married. in the hustle, the couple had placed their rings on their right hands instead of their left hands. the pastor said to them: your right hand is already perfect. compared to your left hand, it is more hardworking, more helpful, more flexible. therefore, it need not receive anymore rewards from God. God has rewarded it by making it perfect. thus, it is your left hand that needs an extra push, another gift from the Lord, to make it as perfect.
of course this story only applies to those who are right-handed. but i think what it means to say is that we should always appreciate what God has given us. When we compare with others, we should try to look at how we are different, and appreciate that, instead of looking at how they are so much better than you and complain that God is being unfair.

today. was a horrible, very bad, no good day. i swear im stretched thin. like really thin. im really really really close to snapping.
first. we spent the first lesson (lit) attacking congress. thanks, you know it doesnt really matter that im in congress and all. after they do suck and they're really useless. yeah that didnt hurt at all.
then, i didnt understand math at all. ok i did, but someone didnt so she kept bugging me. like since last term.
then, i screwed chinese. as if my gpa needs anymore help lowering. and im not exagerrating too.
hist was the only relatively ok period. now do you see why i took it?
cle. was. terrible. no one felt enthu enough to do anything, the wrong people were doing the wrong thing. the right people werent doing anything. shit. sosososo screwed. i really cant stand sl anymore. im sorry but its true.
om. yes. the saviour of my life. who knows if i would have managed to pull through the day if shi min and claire and avril and violet and annie werent there to lighten the mood. really. and shimins terrible grammer helped. a lot. i love you guys. really. a lot.
then sl. took us one hour to get there, missed two buses, took the wrong line. mentor forgot we were going. finally got the kids to shut up and listen. half an hour of relief and go home. great.
then i had lit hw. which is currently lying here abandoned. i dont care! freaking shitting ass. soory. i just felt like it. it kinda subsitutes the other word. i really cant stand it when we're assigned hw and expected to finish in one day. heelo. we have a life. dont you know? and people need to sleep.
then my piano teacher called. hello?i just finished my freaking exam. i dont even want to hear the word piano. please. and she expects me to start on diploma like next week. oh man. likely my mom managed to talk her to putting it off till nov.
i think i going to sleep. crap the mindmap.

haha! i feel good danananananana...
ok nvm. anws, i finally finished my exam! haha. i was ok lar. i got david oliver (so cool, you can call him david or oliver!) hes nice. (: and funny. i think i didnt do too badly. a bit screwed lah (like playing f-sharp mj legato instead of staccato and e-flat mr instead of mj). but i think can pass. haha.
anws, made chicken rice and turbo chicken and oyster sauce with vege and green bean soup and chin chow drink for cooking today(more accurately qiying and jingles made them cos i wasnt around till the last hour due to forementioned reason)! <3. cooking rocks. although instead of 6 ladles of green bean soup i got 8 cos jingles couldnt finish her 6 and gave me 2. and our vege had more onion and garlic then oyyster sauce so in the end it was all chunky. but it rocked anws. heh.

i just found out yesterday that my moms friend was the teacher i/c of scgs squash. got a bit of a shock when my mom found out i got trashed before i could tell her. heh. (:

hmm. i really dont think anyone should be surprised that s'pore was rated one of the least courteous countries. some of the people here are just so ... you know.
i was on the way back from the friendly with scgs ( i lost btw, but it was a fun match. and charmaine was so cute!) there was this woman, around her late 40s, who just barged straight through the crowd of people standing up. and she didnt even say "excuse me" or "sorry". then the woman who was sitting next to the seat she was aiming for didnt even bother to remove her groceries that were occupying that seat. she just shook out her newspaper again and pulled one of the bags closer to her. which plainly showed that she was aware of the other woman staring her down, but blatantly refused to let her take a seat.
its one of those cases where no one was right lor. i mean, i would go as far to say that that woman did not deserve to sit down seeing how rude she was, but the other woman wasnt right either! the seats are for passengers, not bags! how exasperating to watch them.
but then again, this is jstu one example. maybe somewhere else in this island, someone else was making anothers day.
(wait. isnt that utilitarianism?)

hihi.
just got back from piano. my scores improved! <3. but my scales is still that irritatingly constant 16. which is like 2 marks short of 18. which is what my teacher expects. and my exam is in 2 weeks. how brilliant.
anws, got up at 6.50 to copy my fingering from one copy of the exam piece to another. boring silly work. then i went to ayar ragar at 8.00. 8.30 actually, since olt ( havent used that for long. lol) was like late. ya. we played 1.5 hrs of fruit salad. or something. its such a spas game! it goes like this:
the chairs are arranged in a circle. you're named either peach, strawberry or watermelon. then someone stands in the center of the circle and shouts either peach, watermelon or strawberry. then those people would have to change seats. if you dont get a seat, you get to stand in the center and yell. once you do that for 3 times, you've to do forfeit.
something like blow wind blow. just more spastic. haha. yar. so in the end, one boy cried cos he had to dance with olt as a forfeit and he didnt want to and another girl cried cos olt danced onto her foot and an old wound split open. lol. how accident prone you are, olt.
yup. then after that, olt and i went to michies house. for chinese pt. basically we rechose our destinations. and did our itinerary. yar. and had spagetti and fish nuggets and boiled broccoli and ice cream. heh.
then i went for piano.
that just about sums up what i did on this beautiful saturday morning/afternoon. have fun with yours!
