haha. i might have heard me cheering a while back when it was reclaimed after being stolen. yes it is also the cardboard thingy that the art club did last year. <3! i dunno why i like it so much. i mean its a bit spooky yeah. but its so easy to understand! like i immediately got it even before i started to understand art. its just so eerily captivating!

had lit pt today. it was ok lah. i mean, at least i worried for nothing ( which in this case is good). i think our dramatisation was good, except for the part where mabel forgot her lines. but still i think she covered it up ok! and i think our analysis was ok, although it was interrupted by the india visitors and the video was too soft. which i think was why not so many people laughed. haha.

i really thought i screwed up my scales lah but i got 20! which is like the highest i ever got! and i thought my oral was so crap but i got 14! which is also like... better tahn ever. omgomgomg.

i thought my first piece was best though, but i got higher for my second piece. 29. i got 28 for my first piece. and my third piece, predictably the suckiest got 26. which is also the highest i ever got for it! and my sight-reading was so anyhow!

hahaha. i think i really 笑掉牙了! hahah! im soo glad i got such a nice examiner.

i was going to blog about something. but i cant remember what it was! it started with "b". hmm. this is bad. sighs. nvm. i shall blog about sad stuff then.

mrs mohd said our class is rude ): i agree with her lah, to an extent. not everyone is rude, but a few keep cutting into the teachers instructions. and not in the "may i go to the toilet" kinda way. and its reallyreally irritating. especially since they do it MANY times. in EVERY session. damn im fed up. hello? shut your crap and LISTEN. the teacher will get to your question in a while! and some of them may be answered if you actually continue to listen. and do spare some thought for the rest of the class who would rather listen to the teacher than your voice. and if you really dont get the topic, go see her after class or something. some of us got it and would LIKE TO MOVE ON. so PLEASE PLEASE keep your own thoughts to yourselves.

i mean, i dont really mind those questions that have ACTUALLY UNDERWENT THOUGHT PROCESSES. but those i-dont-know-what-your-are-talking-about-and-i-dont-know-why-i-dont-know-and-what-i-dont-knows are just.... ARGH.

and i dont know why but some people just see the need to put their two cents worth into EVERY SINGLE FREAKING POINT the teacher makes. i mean, yeah, you dont agree with the teacher. so? we dont need to know. even if you feel compelled to say it cos you think the teacher totally missed the point, go ahead. but keep it short and sweet. we dont need a long-winded talk about juliets developmental processes or mercutio's sexual puns or whatever. especially when you go a huge round and come back to the simple point that can be said with 5 words. and especially when you back it up with philosophical concepts and all that shit and only give like 2 sentences worth of textual evidence.

IT PISSES ME OFF. and causes many others to fall asleep.

that doesnt mean im against debates though. i like debates. like the one we had today on deception. but i'd rather you guys dont dominate it.

im really sorry if i hurt your feelings or whatever. and i know i may "have no right" so to speak of criticises you all since i talk about random stupid stuff in class too. but...i dunno. i just felt really strong about it. maybe its cos im high-i and all.

oh and i also dont mind other random crap. like weird puns. something funny. you know, to lighten up the mood. but neither do i think spending the whole period laughing is very productive.

oh and everything is my own opinion.

we had sl again today. and there was this boy. malay boy about....8. and he was so sick!
like he kept trying to kiss this other guy on the lips. and did wrong actions with him. really wrong positions. and he FLASHED! like lifted his shirt. he made to pull of his pants, but THANK GOODNESS he didnt go there.

we shall now observe three moments of silence for the tragic passings of elizabeth choy and steve irwin and 911'01.

elizabeth choy doesn't need much of an introduction. almost every singaporean would have known of her brave deeds in WWII. it is a blessing that she has managed to live for so long, and i pray that she will be rewarded in heaven.

steve irwin has always been Someone in my childhood. ok, maybe not steve irwin, but more of the crocodile guy. i remember watching his shows, im sure many of us do. and i can only saw that i will miss his great commentary and humour. i mean, he was wacky!

911'01. i know llth of sept have passed a long time ago. and i also know that its already been five years. but looking back, i still dont think we've made much of an improvement since on the war against terror, despite what bush may say. everyday, someone is dying, everyday someone has lost a loved one, everyday, the world has lost another member. some of these people could have become great people. some of them already were. no matter what, every soul we have lost and will continue to lose is a light put out in this already dark world.

let us pray my friends. pray for the icons of the past. pray for the people of the future. for love. for hope.

i pray for world peace.

today's youth sci conference was honestly quite interesting. up till the tea reception at least. the projects were really innovative! haha. and you can obviously tell that females are better talkers than males lor. like all three presenters were female. and later on, after the tea break, when lt and i went for 4 more presentations, the hci and acsi guys were like... oh wells. rgs was worth listening too. (:

and why do i always see you when it doesnt occur to me that you might be going? i really didnt think that you were going to be there.

trg today. i sucked big time. slacking during the hols did not help. sighs, i think i shall go book the squash courts and play on sun morn. then i wouldnt be able to worm myself out of it.

hi! just got back from psltc 06!

we were split into grps. im in shockwave! with roy, xin jia, becky and nora! short was too, but she went to penang for netball. and my spsls were sherrie, wenyu, zhixian and andrea! (<3).

it was a bit like having orientation all over again lah. so cool!

day 1:

we started with talks.

the first one was about DISC. by this guy called Ian tan. he was so funny! and he can do cool magic tricks. i still dont believe he isnt a high-i. btw, d=dominant, i=influencial, s=steady and c= concientious. its a bit like a personality test. haha.

then we had a talk on counselling skills by ms ronna tan. it was a bit draggy lah, but the roleplay was quite funny. especially alison's grp! haha.

as expected we got quite a handful of "the talks". you know, the ones about "you must listen to the speaker when he/she is talking", "you must show respect to your teachers and seniors", "your attire is terrible" etc. many of those. but no one seemed realy surprised so...

and then we had night surprise! which is basically 3 stations in which we must work as a batch to overcome the obstacles. we had disabilities too! mute, blind and crippled. i was crippled. didnt do much lah, cos the crippleds only could play the last one. ya. but it was fun!

day 2:

i slept for 7 hrs btw. haha. quite a wake in the morning.

anws, had bread. with nutella for breakfast.

more talk. by mr ch*w now. for 3 hours. i tell you almost everyone, including some spsls were sleeping lor. or really dead. ya. he had like 10 pages of slides. very long. and dry. so we got another talk about our lack of enthuness. sighzzz

and then we had... URBAN HIKE (uh). its ssoooooooo fun! but really tiring. basically we went around orchard to stations. and completed tasks.

our first was wheelock and we had to do the chicken dance. IN THE MIDDLE OF ORCHARD. FOR 2.5 MINS. omg. it was sooo fun! and cool! apparently jingles grp got filmed by this random guy. haha. thats so freaky.

then we went to ps! and we had to memorise movie posters so joelynn and zeslene could quiz us. haha. very amusing.

and then (still at ps) we had to look for 8 pairs of good friends who have known each other for more than 2 years! and take pics with them. it was so funny! we basically rushed around everywhere and asked random people! and we bribed some of the people doing flag day with donations. haha.

and then we went to far east! and we had to memorise 20 shop names and unit no.s quite a brainful. lol.

then we went to taka gramophone. and we did some equations (we had to fit in no.s to make them true). very confusing. and none of us were very math oriented.

but then we ran out of time... so we couldnt do the last two stations.

and then we met at ps again and formed psb'07 with our shoes (: so cute!

then we had dinner at taka. and went to the gifts bazaar downstairs!

haha. it was really good lar. and well-organised. and we got to know each other so much! like we were all kanchiong spiders! we walked super fast lah. then our spsls kept losing us. haha. sorry! ya. and we all sucked at math. heh.

day3:

badge initiation!

basically we wore our badges. and lit candles! and sang many many many songs again and again.
