my chinese has officially degraded to an unrecognisable state.
yesterday, my mom decided to test me and my sis on chinese. 10 words from a p5 textbook. my sis got 3 wrong. guess how many i got wrong? 5! haha. i really should go back to primary school. then again, i really dont think i learnt any chinese in rgs anws. as in vocab. no wonder my zuo wen sucks so bad.
went to sas (singapore american school) for a christmas performance thingy last night. i think sas is cool. like the taxis park outside and wait for students everyday! (that just shows how rich they are) and when cars go in, they have to be scanned to make sure they arent carrying any bombs. and there are police with guns everywhere.
the performance itself was... welll....not really up to standard. seeing how theyare all older than me. the pianist playing for the choir made a couple of obvious mistakes and was out of beat for the whole first song and the brass in the concert band were out of tune and off beat. especially during the solo. which is terrible. i tell you i cringed. the strings were pretty good though. the choir was amazing and the jazz band was...wow! they were really brilliant the singing was good and the playing was wonderful. and they were really funny! the trumpet and sax people were dancing and spinning and doing all sorts of spastic stuff. haha.
the reception was good too. the brownies were reallyreallyreally good! yummys. and all the food was brought by parents. some were homemade. like the brownies! haha. it was good.
