HELLO MY BELOVED LOVELY FRIENDS! IM BACK FROM OBS!!!

lalala. i feel sooo good right now. im clean and full and I CAN SEE. hahahahaha. obs was great. and tell you guys IM SO UBER LUCKY.

the first day was joy. my whole class was residential. haha. so we got to sleep in nice bunks and all. and eat canteen food. we got split up and mixed. like for me, i was with some people from 304. and our watch was dhanabalan! yes. who on earth is he? i was like totally what?! apparently hes some minister. dunno. but day one was very uneventful lor. all we did we trust games. yeah. but being resi not all good lor. we had to wake up at 5 so that we can run 3 rounds around the campus. like we were super tired and sleepy and we had to run. but other then that yeah. it was good.

day 2 was really fun! we kayaked! for like 3 hours. kayaking is love! omg. hahah. im a kayak fan! lalala. i did a really stupid thing while kayaking though. i dropped my paddle while rafting. so i had to row with my hands. and chow yue had to row like crap to get back to the group. hahahaha. im amused. lol. then we had heights. with was also very funny. i was up there and then jo ho was like "jo! why are you laughing?!" and because im weird like that, i started laughing. really hard. in the middle of the air. lol. and then i slipped on like the last set of thingums. and fell on chloe. as in she was belaying me. haha. i was laughing like shit. but the harness was damn pain. i have abrasions lah. hurts like crazy when i walk.

day three was like.... dead. we trekked for 11 km for 6 hours with 10 plus kg bags. like instead of heading for camp 2 straight, we were forced to go all around the island looking for checkpoints with "meaningful" quotes on it. i nearly died. i know the mobile people got it worse. but that didnt really help when i had to climb up and down in the hot sun. not did i dont symphatise the mobile people. but anws, it was B-A-D. and then we went to camp 2. camp 1 is heaven compared to camp 2. i saw it and was totally like "violet was soo right to hate me." we cooked our own food and pitched our shelters (bershar?barsar? whatever mans) using the turp (THAT I CARRIED. HEAVY!!) and sticks and twine and poles and ground sheets. and then we slept. like logs. chloe was laughing like shit larh. along with chowyue. and it wasnt even funny. omgs. why do i know such weird people. haiz. haha.

day 4 was lol. we rowed from camp 2 back to camp 1. like in a row boat. but instead of just going straight there. we had to row around this stupid island. and aviod all the fishermen and stilt houses and all. so sadistic. it was super hot lor. like everyone thought we could survive without getting burnt then day 4 wahhh. tsk. i was applying sunblock like siao. every hour put new layer. lol. we rowed for like 3 km for 5 or 6 hours. i think. and the weather was weird. like one moment we were all roasting and then next it was raining. and we were damn suay cos the tide and wind was like supposedly the strongest in the year. apparently its called the "spring tide" we were rowing like siao. like we row and row then we stop for 1 min and we drift back like 500+ metres. pissingfying lor. and sometimes we row and row and not move a single bit. sighs. so in the end we all got towed further up. ours was the only boat nottowed to the jetty. so we had to row like shit. yup. i was actually on the fastest boat lor. but then had to switch to the slowest boat. but then we rowed all the way to the first, then got blown back to last, then row back to first again. haha. ARENT WE A DETERMINED DARK HORSE. lol. up till now i still have the weird feeling that my world is rocking.

day 5 came fast. like suddenly obs was over kind. haha. we played station games with our classes. but we were all kinda dead cos we were like super tired. and wanted to go home. yeah.

and so that was my wonderful obs experience. it was a lot less tough then i expected, but then its cos im resi. and im surprisingly not too biteful (haha i know i invent a lot of words). and not so burnt. super many people were burnt lor. there was this girl with first degree burns. and another (names not mentioned for privacy sake) had second degree burns. like her whole scalp had blisters and they burst so her hair was all covered with pus. oh mans. get well soon kays. ill give a huge hug when you are discharged!
