i was reading the newest copy of newsweek today.

it just proved to me again how screwed the iraq war is.

all these letters, these emails are from people who lived. people who had families, who were sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, daughters, mothers, sisters even. and some were 18 or 19. some was supposed to be home the day after.

yet they all didnt make it home. they gave up their lives. so many died from IED attacks. from ambushes. from snipers.

and reading all their letters, all filled with hope for the they'll go home again.

its depressing.

there was this guy who wrote a journal for his newborn son. he died too. but reading it, you can totally feel the love he had for his family.

its just so sad.
