HURRAY ITS FRIDAY! xD
this week has been an amusing, albeit tiring, one.
for some strange reason, this weeks most talked about topic seemed to be: guys. or men. depending.
like during english, ms lim decided to launch a tirade on her exploits as an o level oral examiner.
Ms Lim: HCI guys are so scarily simlar to one another. When we examine them, they always seem to talk about the same topic. Like once, the topic was "What was your favourite food?" ALL the HCI guys talked about chicken rice! So after hearing 4 people exclaim over it using the same terms, me and my partner got smart. We changed the question! So the next guy who came in, we looked at him and asked "Apart from chicken rice, what is your favourite food?". Of course, he got stumped!
Ms Lim: SJI guys are so wonderful! They are always so charming. But you have to be careful, once you get out of your car, there will be some rushing over going, "Hello Madame, you bag looks heavy..."
-class burst into laughter-
Ms Lim: There was only once when I lost my professionalism. It was in SJI. A boy came in with the most strikingly gelled hair! I couldnt help it! At the end of the exam, I just had to ask, "Excuse me, if I place a pencil on your head, do you think it will stay?" He looked at me and said "I don't know Madame, why dont you try?" So i took my pencil and put it on his hair! And it stayed!
and during trg, Ms Joanneh decided to tell us about all her previous boyfriends. Her first was a RJC guy who used to take the same bus with her. So they were the fairytale bus romance!
Ms Joanneh: Aiyah tell you lah, I actually like SJI and AC guys more lor. They are, I dunno how to say, more charming and polite I think. They know how to treat you properly lor.
and then during chem today,
Ms May Tan: Girls I tell you, those engines (men who take engineering) right, all a bit strange one lah. They dunno how to deal with people what! Because to them, the machine most important. They always work with machines and numbers, they dont really know how to face with people. So right, if you date an engine, make sure you are ready for him to not meet some of your expectations. Engines not very romantic one, but we did manage to find one exception.
Ms May Tan: Arts and those social sciences guys are the best la. Like when I was in ODAC right, all those engines just chiong across the stream or whatever. They will be like " Walk lah! Just walk!" Its the arts guys who will be like "Eh, watch out for that rock, its slippery". And then when you get to the other side of the stream you have to climb up right, the engines are all like "Go! go!" It the arts guys who will like help you take your bag, pull you up. Aiyah, anws, the engines people... they have their own strange way of communication lah.
Needless to say we were very much amused. HAHA.
