a terrorist escaped from a high security prison last week.
the scary part, is that he still hasnt been found. and that, well, hes a terrorist. whether its an inside job, or he just got lucky, whether he is still in singapore or flew off to some random place, it doesnt really make this whole situation any less serious or frightening. i mean, we've always prided ourselves as being so efficient and high in security and technology blah. and then this thing happens and totally ruins our reputation. ok not ruin, but harm. hello! its been one week!
however, theres also a lighter side to this. ive never heard so many terrorist jokes before last week. everywhere we turn its like "watch out! terrorist on the loose!", "dont walk in dark creepy roads at night!" even yesterday when we went to toa payoh sports centre, there was CALL 999 IF YOU SEE MAS SELEMAT. and of course there are all the jokes on
talkingcock.com. a friend of mine who's in ns now and thus have been mobilised to search for him joked that the first thing he'ld do if he saw that guy was to strangle him for causing so much trouble. ahaha.
yeah. so i hope he gets arrested soon.
