edit2: SONG IS VERY LOUD. you may not want to be freaked out of your skin, esp not if its 2 in the morning. yes, im talking bout you, person who lives on insane hours.

edit: so what by pink is up! its such an addicting song, but so bad girl so its temporary. until i begin emoing. xD

the cheetah girls have to be the dumbest movie ever.

avenue q was a much better one. utterly sick though, but i expected that much from an American comedy targeted at mature audiences that includes songs like "The Internet is for Porn". its not entirely vulgar though, there were a few sweet/sad parts. the puppets were interesting, when they werent doing wrong things to each other, the topics, controversial but amusing and the singing, up to standard. all in all, it was a pretty good show, though shorter then i had expected. the manila cast wasnt too bad, although a few jokes would have made more sense if presented by the actual cast.

but wicked still beats it hands down!

i left the house bright and early at 10am, took the bus down to orchard to do some last minute shopping. then i headed over to cityhall to meet theo and claire for lunch. ran into miao twice along the way. we ate at shoduku, this pretty cool jap marche like place that had portions i would easily have split with someone else. since we were so early, we spent bout an hour just talking, or rather, for theo, meowing, which was pretty nice considering how little i would see of them when next year rolls around. eventually, we made our way down to esplanade, passing by a few interesting art exhibits on the way.

at esplanade, we were greeted by what seemed like 20 ri dudes, all dressed up very smartly in their respective black/white shirts, except for zaki, who in typical zaki fashion, came in bright green ^^ apparently the rilitra class had tickets too! tickets near us! so yeah, the girls were once again, pretty outnumbered.

once the last of us had arrived (issac chay, to shanzhis frustration and under claire's threats of death ><) we headed up to our seats. which was pretty high up! freaked fik out a little. in typical human behavioural manner, the guy and girls largely split up into different rows. claire and i was unfortunate enough to be seated before this couple who kept spoilering us. annoying, but the show was pretty enjoyable!

the show ended round 5 plus and wencen and i took the long walk back to the mrt station. sometimes i hate living in bt. the bus ride home was long, painful, squeezy and ended a little traumatically. seems like i attract such events, although thankfully, i have yet to experience what yifei had to undergo. what a brave soul she is.

thus, the exciting sunday wrapped up. and im kinda drowsy right now, so forgive the grammatical errors. :D
