ytd was totally not your typical pre-fam day :D
instead of relaxing in a spa, or getting a manicure, or a facial, or detoxing or starving or what not, i spent till 9 at cats house doing squash farewells stuffums and then until 11.30 at davids place bidding them farewell. so no, pretty much 0 beauty sleep :D
cats house is huge! but oh so ulu. thankfully i live 15 mins away and not at seletar like eden. the farewell gifts, of course, cannot be revealed until after the 13th, but we really had lots of fun :D throughout these 4 years, we've never really met up as a group like that very often. thinking back its a little regretful, but im still glad i have such wonderful team mates. ^^
so after we spent bout 5 hours labouring away with love, mom came to pick me up and we headed down to david's for farewell. ok fine the adults were talking, we were watching csi miami. :D im going to miss that family though. even if we arent exactly the best of buds, we were always able to count on them when the situation called for it. and im extremely grateful for that. from all that carpooling aunty ma kindly did for us whilst my mom was still on crutches, to all that delicious food she cooked up every once in a while, to smp with prof lu (BEST MENTOR EVER), and random dinners during festive seasons with the whole family, i'll definitely miss all of them! and i wish them all the best in australia. all the very best.
in the meantime, full blown prepping for fam wll begin at 1. and then sleepover at ruths tonight! love that girl.
