eeeeee. ive been busy.
lots of writing to do nowadays. plus i just got hired on tues to work at globetrotters (YAY SAME PLACE AS ERIK&JINGYI) and i start today D:
oh and i managed to fit in an awesome outing ytd ^^ 2 hours of cycling (xinmin learnt to ride in 20 mins. isnt that incredible?). jacq & yifei rode all the way to safra (jacq+bike = wonderwoman on wheels), xinmin and i turned around at the sailing club, and erik gaped at people doing cable skiing. plus 3 hours of sushi buffet. 6 girls = around 40 plates of sushi, half of which included
salmon. we had 5 chawanmushis, 18 temakis, and infinitely amounts of sushi.
JACQ ATE 5 TEMAKIS. not counting the rest of the various pieces of sushi she ate. amazing right. how does she stay that thin?!
after we were all nicely fed, we walked around parkway parade. erik, yifei and jacq shopped at cottonon sale, where we desperately tried to persuade jacq to
buy that pretty rose coloured slippers instead of the boring grey ones she wanted. ah wells, they were $5 anws. and then we tried to persuade qiying to pick a bday gift she actually liked, but failed miserably.
after we parted i took 36 to orchard to meet up with mom. more shopping! although there really isnt anything i want to buy anymore. but we did manage to find a nice skirt at iora. mngs 50% sale was o.o
my mom has pulled out the big guns. her offer: $500 to not go to KL with friends and consequently die in imagined bus accident. worth it?
