MURPHYS LAW STRIKES AGAIN!
im blogging on gmail because blogger has been banned in china, supposedly for the anniversary of tiananmen protests. DIE, CENSORSHIP. and if i wait till i return ill never rmb what i wanted to blog about xD
anws, it has been an epic flight. kinda ironic actually, for the swine flu to get to me before it got to you, rohan. (if i die from it i will come back and HAUNT YOU)
we nearly made it too, until we arrived and some person in the row behind us across the plane turned out to have a high fever. then began the 2 hour long wait in the tiny plane cabin waiting and waiting and waiting for who knows what. china eastern does not have nice seats. plus i alr sat down for 5 hours! D: needless to say people began to complain. and complain. and complain. the couple behind us, esp, with their two young kids who must have learnt their awesome complaining skills from their talented parents.

this is the hotel we were sent to. the hotel was at some kinda freaking ulu place that was about an hours ride away from the airport. just to show you how ulu it was, this is what i see outside my window.
yup. when we got there everyone on the bus was like " YOU ARE KIDDING ME"
we were greeted with loads of medical staff, kinda like those you see in movies about end-of-world plauge. we got a room each, and settled in for the night. check this out, i esp like how they called quarantining "this special moment". makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. xD
the food was terrible, the shower, lousy (the only thing i miss the most about home is my shower head. i hate those silly droopy ones) the bed was nice though, i slept well xD and just like i said i would, i flipped open the curtain before i turned in, but the sky was empty.
we were released today, luckily. i wouldnt be able to imagine 7 days in that place D: it was an interesting experience though. one i wouldnt care to repeat, but still.
